There are Disc Jockeys… and there is DJ Fernando S. 

A passionate and savvy DJ with nearly 20 years of experience in the private and nightclub industries. Fernando has rocked dance floors from Ecuador to The Hamptons. 

A 12x The Knot Best of Weddings winner / Wedding Wire Couple’s Choice and The Knot Hall of Fame DJ. He has the experience and talent to bring the energy and attention your wedding deserves!

An avid music connoisseur, collecting vinyl records since an early age, his love for music and its power to create memories is the catalyst for his talents.

His desire to become a DJ came about from listening to the local dance stations late nights, recording live sets from DJs on the local radio late night shows to name. His chance to become a DJ came right during high school where he had his own radio mix show through his high school’s local cable channel. His skills and persona have led him to work with some of the leading DJ companies in NJ prior to starting Blanc Noir. His creative sets and musical knowledge has also led him to have residencies at a number of nightclubs in NJ and NYC.

Since 2002, Fernando has performed at over 3000 events (over 1000 weddings) where he has served celebrity clients such as the Real Housewives of NJ, members of the NY Giants and NJ Devils amongst others. In addition, corporate clients such as H&M, Guess? Jeans, and Condé Nast have relied on Fernando’s event production skills and DJ talent to help them launch new products and hold massive Fashion Week events in New York City.

Fernando’s charisma and skills have made him a much sought after entertainer in the wedding industry. His impeccable mixing skills, ability to transcend genres, and his never-ending energy allows him to create an unforgettable DJ experience for any event.

CHRISTIAN MENESES

Christian Meneses aka DJ Menes (international TikTok + Instagram superstar) is one half of the talented BNEG team. Born and raised in NJ by Colombian parents, Christian enjoyed a childhood filled with music from all eras. His passion for the art of playing records came from listening to talented DJs on the radio each and every weekend. He began collecting music during high school and to this day his library boasts over 30,000 unique records.

After high school, he was introduced to a well-respected DJ entertainment company based in Central Jersey. During his years of working at such company, he learned the ins and outs of the Mobile DJ industry. From equipment setup and maintenance to back office management, Christian had a hands-on learning experience that solidified his passion for the industry. 

Christian purchased his first set of turntables during his freshman year of college and soon gained popularity amongst his classmates and fraternities. He developed his sound and began producing his own mix tapes for exposure. His drive and personality allowed him to be tapped to play at the most popular nightlife destinations in Central Jersey. All this was achieved while he attended Kean University and obtained his Bachelors and Masters degrees.

Christian is a warm and personable member of our team. His sense of humor and relentless drive has allowed him to become one of our most sought after DJs. His nightclub background as well as his mobile DJ experience allows him to develop a memorable and exciting entertainment experience for all of our clients.

His passion for music, DJ technology, and the satisfaction he gets from helping people celebrate life is still as strong as the day he first touched a record. Weddings, Sweet 16s / Quinces to elaborate corporate events, Chris can handle it all.

Jon has been rocking weddings since the age of 14. A seasoned industry veteran with over 25 years of wedding and private event experience, he can bring energy, fun and talent to your special day.

He has performed at weddings from Miami to LA and everywhere in between. He’s a light-hearted fun pro that enjoys a good laugh, a cold glass of Coca-Cola, and hanging out with his kids.
